ā€œWhy my front teeth suddenly have small gap?ā€

I realized that my front teeth have a small gap and I think it is something to do with my gums. I think maybe because of heat. I only realized it yesterday and I don't know how long has it been like this but I assume not long ago. What can I do or is it just a temporary thing because Iā€™m scared that it will be permanent? I always liked my teeth.

Teeth are not "set in stone," and they can move. Because they can, orthodontists can open and close spaces between teeth, upright teeth and rotate teeth. In your case, sometimes the pressure of the tongue when you swallow, or sometimes because of breathing difficulties when you sleep (can be caused by enlarged tonsil) put pressure on those front teeth and push them toward the lips, opening up the small space.
