“Will dental sedation help me relax during my dentist visit?”
I'm afraid of going to the dentist, and I haven't gone in so long--about 3 years. Can I get sedation to help me relax during my visit?

Not all dental offices are prepared to sedate patients. You should ask your doctor. Maybe he can prescribe you a pill to take before the procedure.
It's really not necessary. Find a good dentist by asking around.
