“Will I need heart surgery in the future?”
I'm 37, and have had atrial fibrillation. I had an echo scan and my results 'demonstrated an atrial septal aneurysm with patent foramen ovale and trivial to mild left to right shunt'. Will I need heart surgery in the future?
