7. Get plenty of rest
Getting quality sleep can be challenging when you have to deal with the side effects of chemotherapy, such as nausea and night sweats. Your body needs to recover and if you are also struggling with issues such as depression or stress, it can be difficult to even take a nap. Set a good sleep environment; avoid looking at the clock, and think positive thoughts. If you can’t fall asleep right away, wait it out by cozying up with a good book or watching TV.
