Lady Lake Family Medicine provides family medicine services aimed at helping to protect and improve patients’ overall health and well-being. As a leading medical practice in The Villages and surrounding community, the team at Lady Lake Family Medicine take time to listen to each patient’s needs and to provide highly customized care to enhance their wellness.

With years of experience in his field, Dr. Burress also serves as the Medical Director of Physicians Vein Care in Lady Lake. Throughout his academic background, Dr. Burress attended the University of Central Florida, where he obtained simultaneous dual degrees in biology and psychology while working for a neuropsychologist doing clinical bio and neurofeedback treatments. After graduation, he attended the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He then completed a rotating internship at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida, before going on to complete his residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital East Orlando, which included training at both Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic.

The doctor is dual board-certified in family medicine and venous and lymphatic medicine. He is currently pursuing a third board certification in stem cell and regenerative medicine.

Additionally, he has earned several awards and recognitions throughout his career, including Compassionate Doctor Recognition from 2015 to 2018, On-Time Doctor Award from 2015 to 2018, and Patients’ Choice Award from 2015 to 2018.
