Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her internship in internal medicine and her residency in anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, followed by her fellowship in critical care medicine at Washington University.
Shortly thereafter, she became board-certified in both anesthesiology and critical care medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
