Dr. Megan Jhaver completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she also served as Chief Resident and Associate Professor. In 2007, she relocated to Chandler, Arizona and began practicing Internal Medicine as a board-certified physician.
As a patient in Dr. Jhaver’s clinic, you will experience a warm, nurturing, and compassionate environment. Patients have indicated, “I feel better just walking through the door knowing Dr. Jhaver is going to take care of me. I love her sincere and heartfelt hugs at every appointment.” Her family-oriented approach has led to treating multiple generations of families and her current record is 3 generations in the same family which she knows she will break soon.
Community service is equally important to Dr. Jhaver. She has visited Haiti on medical mission trips where she has treated over 600 patients and inspired others to serve alongside her. She also mentors high school and college students contemplating a career in medicine.
She is an avid dog lover and rescue dog owner herself. In her spare time, Dr. Jhaver enjoys reading, traveling, and new culinary experiences. She was a former basketball and high school track athlete and still enjoys running half marathons.
Dr. Jhaver’s primary goal is to ensure the best quality of life and health for her patients by building meaningful relationships and providing world class care. She views and treats her patients and staff as her family away from home. Her childhood dream is lived everyday treating and serving her patients.
