He is in practice with OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center – Head & Neck Cancer Clinic, where he takes care of patients with cancers of the skin, mouth, nose, throat, thyroid, and salivary glands.

His clinical interests include microvascular reconstruction in all areas of the body; complex reconstruction of the head, neck, and face, endoscopic and open skull base surgery, facial reanimation surgery, and adult airway surgery.

Alongside his clinical role, he serves as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. 

Educated in Puerto Rico, Dr. Sanclement earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in otolaryngology at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown and pursued fellowships in head and neck, skull base and microvascular reconstruction surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Subsequent to his education, he attained board certification through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). The ABOHNS serves the public by assuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
