About

Dr. Miranda Cannon is an Optometrist serving the Seattle area since 2010. Dr. Miranda Cannon was born and raised in central Indiana, near Indianapolis. She graduated with honors from Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Dr. Miranda then attended the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington. For three years in a row, she enjoyed volunteering her services on yearly mission trips to an Indiana University eye clinic in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Dr. Miranda also completed externships in Ocular Disease at two VA hospital systems on the East Coast. Shortly after graduating from optometry school, she moved to Seattle and had run her own practice at McChord Air Force Base before opening Cannon EyeCare. She is excited that her new office is so much closer to home.

She sees patients at Cannon EyeCare in University Village three days a week and helps by coordinating care and fielding insurance questions on other days. The family’s two Australian Shepherds and two young daughters keep Dr. Miranda busy when she’s not hard at work.
