Earning his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1986, Dr. Krumdieck went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Later, he returned to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to complete his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology.
As a testament of his continued education, he is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
