To this day, she feels that it is an important duty to provide those afflicted with addiction or those who have loved ones that are, as much knowledge about this disease as possible, as well as tools, choices, and options to decide how to take control of their lives.
Anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during, and after surgery. It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine. In her personal life, Dr. Aharonov is a devoted wife, a mother of five children, and a grandmother of five.
