Dr. Faraj Hanna al-kass is a double board-certified fellowship-trained Vascular and non-vascular Interventional Radiologist. He finished his Radiology Residency at the American university of Beirut, Lebanon. Then, he completed his Interventional Radiology fellowship at the university of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. After completing his fellowship at the university of Iowa, Dr. Hanna al-kass stayed on faculty for additional one year. Then, he was appointed as an assistant professor at the Detroit Medical Center/ Wayne State University. In addition to his clinical responsibilities and patients’ care, Dr. Hanna al-kass was also involved in the education and training of residents and fellows in the field of mini-surgery and minimally invasive vascular/ non-vascular interventional procedures. Over the last five years, Dr. Hanna al-kass has devoted most of his time and expertise in the fight and treatment of the debilitating vascular disease that usually resulted in a miserable life style and limb amputation if left untreated.
