Get to know Dentist Dr. Manisha Suri, who serves patients in Lindenhurst, New York.

Dr. Suri is a dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Smiles On Wellwood in Lindenhurst, New York. She and Dr. Derik Stucker are co-owners of the general dentistry office. They have extensive training and experience in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Suri is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.

Dr. Suri earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2008 with a minor in pediatric dentistry. Thereafter, she went on to complete her general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Since then, Dr. Suri has been practicing family dentistry in Long Island. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists, like Dr. Suri, are responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, as well as promoting oral health and disease prevention. Additionally, they look for abnormalities within the mouth such as lumps, swelling or discoloration, and perform necessary diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat these abnormalities. Dr. Suri enjoys working with children and helping families establish a dental home.
