In the early days of his academic career, Dr. Wolf earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 1997. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 1998 and 2000, respectively. Three years later, in 2003, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Following his education, the doctor became board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
