Get to know Neurologist Dr. Jagdish C. Sharma, who served patients in Houston, Texas.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Sharma graduated with his medical degree from King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, India in 1962. Upon relocating to the United States, he served his internship in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center. This was followed by residencies in neurology at VA Medical Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of North Carolina Hospitals.

Holding over six decades of experience in the field of neurology, Dr. Sharma specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases or impaired function of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles, autonomic nervous system, and blood vessels that relate to these structures.

Currently retired from practice, he served patients at his private practice in Houston, Texas.

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients.
