GANJ is an integrated group practice composed of a team of highly skilled gastroenterologists. As part of their dedication to complete care, the board certified physicians and professional staff will effectively evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions and diseases.

With locations throughout four counties in northern New Jersey, the multidisciplinary practice offers coordinated and comprehensive services with an emphasis on personalized care for patients of all ages and activity levels. In addition, GANJ is affiliated with five ambulatory surgery centers where advanced procedures are performed in a warm, comfortable environment on an outpatient basis.

Prior to his position at GANJ, Dr. Krohn conducted research for Marion Bessin Liver Research Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York on various topics relevant to the medical community.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he received his medical degree with special distinction for research in hepatology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2008. He then went on to perform his internship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2009, and his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2011. This was followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Montefiore Medical Center in 2014. 

In addition to his extensive research during his medical training, Dr. Krohn has conducted three publications and has received academic awards, including the Samuel Belkin Scholarship and the Ira Marienhoff Scholarship.

With a special interest and expertise in hepatology, he is dual board-certified gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Among his hospital affiliations, Dr. Krohn holds privileges at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Saint Mary’s General Hospital, Chilton Medical Center, St Joseph’s Wayne Hospital, Jersey City Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center.
