Dr. Jack Anavian is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in both sports medicine and orthopaedic trauma. He has expertise in the treatment of complex injuries and pathology involving the shoulder, hip, knee and long bones, while using the latest minimally-invasive and evidence-based techniques. He has research experience in basic science and clinical orthopaedics, with authorship in numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and numerous presentations and national meetings. He carrys several leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente including medical device trialing, academic symposiums, provider education, quality improvement, and clinical research. He also has team physician experience with the Providence Bruins Hockey Team (AHL) and the US Ski and Snowboad Teams. In his free time Dr. Anavian enjoys skiing, travel, the musical arts, F1 racing, and spending time with his family, friends and his mini schnauzer.
