Get to know General Dentist Dr. Hung Duong, who serves patients in Arlington, Virginia.

Specializing in general dentistry, Dr. Duong has been in practice for more than 17 years. He continues to stay current on the innovations in the ever-changing dental world, thereby allowing him to make sure that his patients receive the best, most up-to-date care. 

At his state-of-the-art dental practice, Advanced Dentistry of Arlington, he and his staff remain dedicated to providing conscientious, high quality, and long-lasting dental care for the local Arlington community. They work hard to ensure that each patient achieves a lifetime of healthy habits that will keep them proud to show their smile to the world. 

After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 2002, Dr. Duong continued his education as a proud member of the United States Air Force. After his service, he dedicated his time to his patients by not only providing top quality care but also by creating a comfortable environment to ensure that they have the best experience possible. 

In order to stay up to date in his field, he remains an active member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He has also widened his skills to include being an Invisalign provider so that he is able to help all of his patients smile again.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist is a primary care dental provider. They diagnose, treat, and manage patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education. 

In his personal life, Dr. Duong enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. He and his family enjoy taking trips whenever possible and he makes sure to stay involved in his sons’ active lives.
