Valley Regional Hospital is a hospital located on 243 Elm Street in Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. It was established in 1893 as Cottage Hospital. As a 25-bed, 24/7-staffed emergency department hospital, it is the only such facility in Sullivan County. Its mission is to treat the community as family by providing quality, compassionate care.

Back in 2008, Dr. Sigbjarnarson graduated with his medical degree from the University of Iceland Faculty of Medicine. He then went on to perform his residency in general surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 2015.

Licensed to practice medicine in New Hampshire and Vermont, the doctor is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Sigbjarnarson serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
