Wanting to further his knowledge, he completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine -Tucson (South Campus) in 2019.

A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Student Association, Dr. Berjaoui has managed numerous clinical research trials, presented at educational conferences, and has been awarded the “Faculty Undergraduate Student Research Award”. In addition, he has earned sub-specialty certifications in global health and integrative medicine.
