Growing up in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Bennett spent four years studying in San Diego to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was nominated, Outstanding Graduate, one of only ten students in the College of Sciences. She then attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She was extremely committed to her studies at UCSF and earned many awards for her scholastic achievements, involving dental sciences and oral pathology.
While in dental school, Dr. Bennett was lucky enough to find the love of her life and shortly after graduation, they were married. She and her husband moved to the Midwest where her husband completed his residency in endodontics at Saint Louis University. They started their family in 2018 and say becoming parents is the part of their lives they are most proud of. They have two daughters, Kennedi and Zara, a son named Fox, and two dogs, Rocco and Sasha, who they love and adore.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
In order to stay up to date in her field, Dr. Bennett remains an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, hiking, and skiing. She also enjoys wine and is a self-proclaimed foodie!
