Get to know Dentist Dr. Angela M. Nash, who serves patients in Fort Myers, Florida.

Dr. Nash is a skilled dentist who specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases and conditions associated with the mouth and overall dental health. She is the owner and operator of Legacy Dental Studio in Fort Myers, Florida. 

Whether a patient’s dental needs are a complete exam and cleaning, a full-mouth restoration, dentures or anything in between, the team of dental professionals at Legacy Dental Studio promise to provide exceptional care as they enhance the natural beauty of one’s smile. 

Having grown up in the Fort Myers area since the age of thirteen, Dr. Nash is strongly rooted there. After graduating with top honors from Mariner High, she attended the University of Florida, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She then went on to study at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree, graduating magna cum laude-“with great praise”. She was also invited to become a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious, invitation-only National Dental Honor Society.

Now in private practice, Dr. Nash is committed to achieving clinical excellence. She is constantly attending continuing education courses that keep her up to date on new products and techniques in order to offer her patients the best and most innovative care available. She belongs to the council of innovative dentistry, which is a 3M research and development group for dental products. She is also a member of the City of Palms Study Club, a study club that includes several general dentists and specialists from many fields of dentistry.

Among the dentist’s professional affiliations, she is a member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Lee County Dental Society, and the International Team for Implantology.

In June of 2014, Dr. Nash earned her Fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry. A general dentist who is a “Fellow” in the Academy of General Dentistry has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and example to other dentists of the importance of quality continuing dental education to patient care. 

A year later, in June of 2015, she earned her Mastership award in the Academy of General Dentistry. A dentist who achieves Mastership in the Academy is awarded a professional designation and recognition among their peers as a dentist committed to ongoing continuing education and delivering quality patient care.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Nash loves to spend quality time with her husband, Justin, and their 3 children.
