His philosophy is that the body was built to be healthy and the power that made the body heals the body. If patients are not healthy then there must be a cause preventing their body from functioning properly. His job is to find that hidden cause by evaluating and analyzing different systems in the body.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Von Rice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1988. He did his internship in chiropractic at the Whittier Health Center.

Furthermore, he completed postdoctoral studies in Chiropractic Neurology, and has been to the People’s Republic of China to participate in a medical / chiropractic exchange of current scientific procedure regarding the use of acupuncture. He has done extensive post graduate work in clinical nutrition, applied kinesiology, and is proficient in the use of the Activator adjusting instrument.

Distinguished as a Diplomate and Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, he is a licensed chiropractor trained in Diversified, Drop Table and Activator technique, and is board-certified in acupuncture and physiotherapy. He also holds the CAC Certified Animal Chiropractor certification.

Among his prior professional engagements, Dr. Von Rice is the Past President of the Arizona Association of Chiropractic, Past President of the Southern California University of Health Sciences Alumni Association, has served on the AAC Legislative Committee, has been the AAC District 13 delegate, and has been a team physician with the Arizona Football League.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions.
