Nitasha Gupta, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon. She attended Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where she was part of the Honors Program in Medical Education, an accelerated BA/MD medical training program. After receiving her bachelor’s and medical degrees from Northwestern University, she completed a medical internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago. In her final year of residency, she was honored to serve as Chief Resident and was recognized by the department for her excellence in patient care. She then completed a fellowship in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and anterior segment pathology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. Throughout her training she participated in various research activities and has had the opportunity to publish and present her work at regional and national conferences.
