She earned her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. She initially started her medical training in pediatrics at the Florida State University, before transitioning into family medicine at the University of Florida.
Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
On a professional level, she is an active member of the Florida Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
