Get to know Family Physician Dr. Tenley E. Noone, who serves patients in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

A highly trained family physician, Dr. Noone is affiliated with BayCare Medical Group, seeing patients at Pasadena Primary Care in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She provides basic health care to families and individuals of all ages and enjoys focusing on preventative medicine, wellness, and weight loss. She enjoys tailoring medical care to each individual patient.

When she was younger, she was in a boating accident while windsurfing and had to spend a lot of time in the hospital. Her father was part of her medical team who saved her life and her leg. From this experience, she was inspired to pursue medicine and practice from the perspective of a patient.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Noone completed an undergraduate degree in Biology and a graduate degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Windsor in Canada. She earned her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. She initially started her medical training in pediatrics at the Florida State University, before transitioning into family medicine at the University of Florida.

Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

On a professional level, she is an active member of the Florida Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
