Born and raised in New York, Dr. Trevisani was awarded a football scholarship to Midland College in Nebraska and went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1975. After interning at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Oakland, California, he completed general surgery training at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He then completed his plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Having always been attracted to the study of anatomy, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
Among his many accomplishments in his 30+ year career, Dr. Trevisani created and performed multitudinous complex surgical procedures. A board member for the Families and Children of Florida, he is the author or co-author of numerous written works related to his field. A frequent presenter, he also posts weekly blogs about plastic and aesthetic surgery.
