Get to know Family Practitioner, Dr. Suzanne J. Fiala, who currently serves patients in Port Angeles, Washington. 

A board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Fiala welcomes patients at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Washington. She is well-versed in all facets of family medicine and performs a range of special procedures, including surgical wound repairs, suturing lacerations, bursal injections, fracture assessment and treatment.

Dr. Fiala attended the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, and graduated in 1991. She then completed a family medicine residency through Tacoma Family Medicine (1991 - 1994). Dr. Fiala maintains a professional affiliation with the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Subsequent to her training, Dr. Fiala received board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family medicine (ABFM). The American Board of Family Medicine is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty within primary care that provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. The specialist, who is usually a primary care physician, is named a family physician.

Outside her professional commitments, she is very busy spending time with her six children. She also enjoys almost anything outdoors, including gardening, hiking, biking, horseback riding, walking/camping on the beaches.
