Dr. Shinawe Jimenez is a dedicated pediatrician with over 18 years of experience, specializing in the health care of children from infancy to young adulthood. Graduating from Lincoln Hospital affiliated with Cornell in 2006, Dr. Jimenez has honed her expertise in diagnosing and treating infections, injuries, diseases, and other conditions. Her clinical experience includes outpatient private practice in Staten Island, hospital inpatient units, emergency room settings, and 14 years of general pediatrics at Woodhull Hospital, affiliated with NYU, where she also teaches pediatric residents. Passionate about newborn-parent care, Dr. Jimenez founded Dandelion Pediatrics, a unique space offering personalized care, and now provides concierge home visits for newborns in Brooklyn, overseeing both their physical and emotional health.
