Born and raised in Brownsville, Dr. Villarreal graduated from Los Fresnos High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She obtained her dental training at Texas A&M Health Science Center–Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. She has lately received extensive continuing education in orthodontics, occlusion, full mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic dentistry.
Recognized as an Associate Fellow of the Academy of General Practitioner Orthodontics and a scholar and Ambassador of the prestigious Dawson Academy, she is a member of the International Dental Implant Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Crown Council, the Texas Dental Society, and the Rio Grande Valley Dental Society.
With a passion for giving back to the community, both at home and abroad, Dr. Villarreal and Dr. Nuñez participate in annual mission trips to the Dominican Republic, organized by the International Dental Implant Association, to donate dental implant services to patients with limited or no access to care.

In her free time, Dr. Villarreal loves to read, spend time with her fur babies, travel the world, and visit South Padre Island.
