Dr. Oria is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over thirty-three years of experience in his field and speaks both English and Spanish. Dr Oria received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and continued his studies with a residency with Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens in New York. Dr. Oria has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and practices in both Tradition Medical Center and St. Lucie Medical Center.
Currently, Dr. Oria exclusively practice Gynecology in his private medical practice in Port Saint Lucie and specializes in women’s health, gynecology, operative laparoscopy, office gynecology and infertility. He has considerable experience with state-of-the-art minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery techniques which enable minimal recovery time from gynecological procedures such as hysterectomies.
Dr. Oria has served in multiple positions of leadership throughout his career including as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami; Chief of Staff at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida; Director of Maternity and Labor and Delivery Department; Chairman of the Executive committee; and Head of the Credentialing Committee. He maintains professional memberships in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Oria and his wife reside in Port Saint Lucie, Florida and have three children. When he is not serving his patients Dr. Oria enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and reading about the latest scientific research and discoveries both in his field and beyond.
