Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Foazia Siddiq, who serves patients in Holbrook, New York.

Dr. Siddiq is an experienced and detail-oriented pediatrician who currently practices at Pediatric Associates in Holbrook, New York.

Passionate about working with children and forming bonds with them and their parents, she strives to provide the best care possible to them and their families in medical conditions related to panic attacks, nutrition issues, constipation, and dehydration, among other medical problems.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Siddiq completed her medical degree at Kabul University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine in Afghanistan. Subsequently, she relocated to the United States where she completed a residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center in New York.

After her residency, Dr. Siddiq completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Nassau County Medical Center. 

Board-certified in pediatrics, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Licensed to practice medicine in New York, Dr. Siddiq is affiliated with Southside Hospital, Stony Brook University Hospital, and Good Samaritan University Hospital. Her fluency in English and Farsi makes her culturally attuned to patients from various backgrounds.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
