How do you fix a dislocated elbow?
A true dislocated elbow is very very painful. Only an X-ray can tell exactly what is going on. If it is dislocated, it needs to be "set" by an orthopedic surgeon and placed in a cast for 3 weeks. If there are associated fractures, then they need to be fixed as well. Hope it helps!! Dr. Bose READ MORE

The only way to know for sure is to get an X-ray, but I doubt you have a fracture. Get a lace up ankle brace and wear it whenever your foot touches the floor. Take advil 600 mg three times a day. Expect healing to be 4-5 weeks in total. Hope it helps!! Dr. Bose READ MORE

Best type of sneaker for orthotics?
There are many opinions because there is no authoritative study on the subject. The main thing is to get a neutral shoe that is well cushioned that you are willing to wear most of the time. Most people get a well-cushioned tennis shoe around $100. Remember, the orthotic does the correction so the shoe does not have to. Also, you can move the orthotic from shoe to shoe, so you can use it for differing social occasions. Hope it helps!! Dr. Bose READ MORE

Can you get a bunion by your pinky toe?
Yes. It is called a bunionette. Get a Dr Schol's pad and stick it on the painful area to put a cushion between the shoe and the skin. Also, get shoes that are wider so your little toe won't rub on the shoe. Hope it helps!! Dr. Bose READ MORE
Can a broken big toe cause bunions?
A broken toe is rarely the cause of a bunion, but it's possible. I've never seen it. Most of the time, bunions are caused by high heel shoes with pointy toes. Over time, they deform the big toe joint and cause a bunion. Hope it helps!! Dr. Bose READ MORE
What does a tailor's bunion feel like?
It hurts. Any *bunion* can be painful, especially if it rubs against your shoe. A *tailor's bunion*, also called a bunionette, is a bony lump that forms along the side of the little toe. It happens when the fifth metatarsal bone enlarges or shifts outward. The fifth metatarsal is the very bottom bone on the little toe. It is treated with a shoe that is wider so the bone won't rub on the shoe. Also, pads can be purchased at any store to protect the skin from rubbing on the shoe. If all of the above fails, a surgery can be performed. Hope it helps!! Dr. Bose READ MORE
