Dr. Ragi is a highly skilled and respected dermatologist, laser and Mohs surgeon. He is the Director of Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center in Teaneck, New Jersey, having performed more than 20,000 skin cancer and laser surgeries over the past 20 years while seeing over 50,000 patients.

One of the most knowledgeable practitioners of Mohs surgery in the world, Dr. Ragi has taught hundreds of dermatology residents, medical students, and Mohs surgeons. He has completed research in skin cancer, published several scientific articles, authored textbook chapters, and given lectures at national and international conferences.
Dr. Ragi graduated with his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India. After relocating to the United States, he did his residency in dermatology at SUNY Buffalo, and a fellowship in dermatologic surgery and oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute.
Mohs surgery is the gold standard for many basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas with the highest cure rate while preserving the most normal tissue. He was fellowship-trained in Mohs Surgery by Dr. Frederic Mohs, Dr. Stephen Snow, and Dr. Paul Larson at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI. He is board certified by the American Board of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
With a focus on skin issues, Dr. Ragi is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.
Nationally and internationally recognized, Dr. Ragi was the Chief of Mohs Surgery and Assistant Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He was also Chief of Dermatology at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ and served as the President of the Dermatological Society of NJ.
Very active in professional associations, he remains a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Cutaneous Oncology.
