Get to know Internist Dr. Dionne Natalie Holmes, who serves patients in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Truly enjoying waking up and going to work every morning, Dr. Holmes is a primary care physician at University Internal Medicine – Country Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is a part of Wake Forest Baptist Health.

The providers at University Internal Medicine – Country Club offer adult patients a full range of primary care services, including: preventive wellness checks; management of chronic problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis, and heart problems; care of acute problems such as sinus infections and muscle sprains; and care and patient education for geriatric patients.

Alongside her clinical role, Dr. Holmes serves as an Assistant Professor of General Internal Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Throughout her academic career, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Memorial College in 2005. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 2011, after which she completed her residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2014.

With an unwavering commitment to her speciality, she is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina, Dr. Holmes is affiliated with Davie Medical Center, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
