Academically, Dr. Duperval graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. She finished her post-baccalaureate premedical studies at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford. She completed her training in gynecology and obstetrics at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where she served as chief resident and was the recipient of several awards for excellence in teaching and research. She also received the award for compassionate patient care.
Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
