Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Megha Mendiratta, who serves patients in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Mendiratta is a family practitioner serving Washington and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Comprehensive Primary Care, a practice that assist patients in managing their health holistically, so they focus on the patient as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms and conditions. They take time to get to know you, tailor their care to your needs, and give you the highest level of communication, education, and support. 

She practices evidence based medicine, and has a focus on preventative care medicine, acute care, women’s health, as well as chronic care management. She has a very unique bond with all of her patients which allows her to positively connect with them and their individual concerns.

In regards to her education, Dr. Mendiratta earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. Furthering her education, earned her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She went on to complete a residency in family medicine at Virtua. 

Additionally, Dr. Mendiratta is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a not-for-profit, private organization whose mission is to improve the health of the public through board certification, residency training, research, leadership development, and promoting the development of the specialty of family medicine. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians.
