Essentially a native Houstonian, Dr. Salehi attended Duke University for his undergraduate education, graduating in 2005. He completed medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2010. After medical school, he completed a surgical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center. He then returned to Texas to complete a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston, and a fellowship in body imaging at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
