Dr. New Sang is an award winning pediatrician practicing in Fresno, CA, and who specializes in the health care of children from newborn until 21 years old. As a pediatrician, Dr. Sang has diagnosed and treated a wide variety of infections, injuries, diseases and other disorders in children, both in a hospital setting and in his clinics which now number three locations. In order to practice good public health, Dr. Sang believes in and administers a variety of vaccines and immunizations, and is a board member of the Central Valley Immunization Coalition. His leadership positions include being the Chair of Pediatrics at Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno, and finishing a leadership certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was honored as a Distinguished Scholar. Dr. Sang was also the driving force behind his family's donation to the Community Health Systems, and in honor of the gift, the hospitals at Fresno and Clovis named the units for mothers and their newborns the Sang Family Postpartum and Newborn Care units. Dr. Sang is proud to have carried the Sang family legacy of caring for the families of the Central Valley for the past few decades, and looks forward to helping his patients for many generations to come.

The eldest son of Dr. Orathai Sangrujiveth, Dr. Sang graduated from Clovis West High School, before embarking on an academic journey that took him to renowned institutions such as UCLA and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After honing his skills and acquiring invaluable knowledge, he completed his training in the serene landscapes of Honolulu, Hawaii. His professional journey then led him to Kauai, where he spent five years contributing to the healthcare landscape.
During his tenure on Kauai, he played a pivotal role in a high-volume outpatient clinic, displaying his proficiency in handling a diverse array of medical cases. His expertise extended to attending high-risk deliveries, showcasing a commitment to maternal and child health. Additionally, he took on the responsibility of covering the ER during on-call shifts.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), the doctor attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Beyond his work at Sang Pediatrics, Dr. Sang has worked part-time in the NICU at the Community Regional Medical Center-Fresno.. His leadership qualities have been acknowledged through his two terms as the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Community Regional Medical Center from 2016 to 2020. He was also the driving force behind the donation to improve postpartum facilities at CRMC-Fresno and Clovis Community Hospitals, and as a result, the units were named the Sang Family Postpartum and Newborn Care.
