Yolanda Marcos, MD, was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas where she attended St. Mary’s Hall High School. She received her Undergraduate degree from Princeton University and earned her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospital in the Medical Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). Dr. Marcos stays up to date on the latest medical practices by attending continuing education seminars. Much of her medical influence came from her father, the late Javier Marcos, M.D., a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
Dr. Marcos is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is married to David Johnson and they have two children, Nicole and Zachary.
