Greetings Depending on where your cardiologist chooses to access your artery for the intervention will depend on whether you should be up and walking soon. Some procedures are access through the radial artery, which is a artery in the wrist. Others are access to the femoral artery, which is an artery in your groin. Usually, if your groin is accessed, you are usually required to lie flat a couple of hours after the procedure.
