Get to know Dentist, Daniel S. Smith, DDS, who serves patients of all ages in Puyallup, Washington

Dr. Smith is a seasoned dentist who practices through Smith & Wetterhus Dentistry in Puyallup, Washington, where he works alongside Dr. Greg Wetterhus. Dr. Smith is dedicated to providing a setting where his patients are well informed, relaxed, and aware that their dental health is his top priority. He is an expert in improving smiles by using the latest cosmetic dentistry procedures.

Dr. Smith received his Doctor of Dental Dentistry degree with numerous clinical achievement awards in 1986 at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, Southern California. He is a graduate of Creating Restorative Excellence at the Kois Center. While in dental school, Dr. Smith was a school officer in clinical affairs and earned honors in implantology. He also volunteered to provide dental care to the underserved people in Mexico, among other places.

Dr. Smith is active with the Advanced Prosthetic Study Club and the Tacoma Implant Study Club. Selected by his peers for the Top Dentist award in Seattle Met magazine, he remains devoted to lifelong learning and the latest technology and advancements in dentistry.“With modern dental techniques and equipment, we are helping patients keep their teeth for a lifetime. We focus on comprehensive care with treatment that is individualized to optimize not only dental health but overall health as well,” he says.

Dr. Smith has lived in Puyallup since 1986. He dedicates his spare time to traveling, playing golf, reading, and being with his two adult children. He also enjoys being active in his church.
