Does skin tighten after liposuction?
With standard liposuction, skin tightening is not a typical side effect. Depending on the elasticity of your skin you may notice some ‘tightening’ of the skin. Does rhinoplasty leave a scar?
Anytime an incision is made there will be a scar. A closed rhinoplasty involves incisions only in the nostrils so the scar isn’t visible on the skin. An open rhinoplasty involves a small scar across the columella which is the skin between the nostrils. This is often extremely minimal and barely noticeable. The best thing to do is to heal the wounds, wait for the scars to mature and settle down and determine if any revision is necessary or desired. While practicing the breadth of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, he maintains specific interests in post-bariatric body contouring, breast reconstruction and treatment of upper extremity compression neuropathy and arthritis.

He was awarded his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine and then completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey. He continued his training with the completion of a fellowship in hand surgery at New York University in 2014.
A member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery and hand surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and a fellow in the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
Among his other roles, he can be found on staff at Greenwich Hospital, Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center, and White Plains Hospital.
