Get to know Nephrologist Dr. Taquiuddin Khaja, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.

Dr. Khaja is a well-versed nephrologist with an interest in transplantation. He is in practice with The Healing Kidneys Institute of Houston, with offices in Conroe, The Woodlands, and Houston, Texas.

With a solid educational background, Dr. Khaja graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Kansas City University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. Subsequently, he performed his residency in internal medicine at the said establishment, his fellowship in nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2021, and his fellowship in transplant nephrology at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2022. 

Holding board certification in both internal medicine and nephrology, Dr. Khaja is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified DOs who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.

Nephrology is a specialty of medicine and pediatrics that concerns itself with the kidneys.
