Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Tamara Alberti Sutherland, who serves patients in Glen Allen, Virginia.
Dr. Sutherland, a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, joined Associates In Pediatrics in Glen Allen, Virginia in July of 2003. She became the Senior Partner in 2017.
Associates In Pediatrics is a division of Pediatric Partners of Virginia (PPV) which provides pediatric and adolescent care, including sick and well child care, minor emergencies, and sports care, with professional and friendly service. The team of professionals working there strive to provide each child with the best health care possible.
In 2000, Dr. Sutherland earned her medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in New York. She went on to complete her internship and residency in pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Thereafter, she became board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certification is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Sutherland examines, diagnoses, and treats children of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses.
