Dr. Carrie Muh, MD, MS, MHSc, FAANS is a Pediatric neurosurgeon specializing in epilepsy surgery.
She is Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery and Surgical Director of the Epilepsy Program at Westchester Medical Center and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, and is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at New York Medical College. She worked at Duke University Hospital in Atlanta and remains an Adjuvant Professor at Duke University,
Dr. Muh treats neurologic disorders of the brain and spinal cord including intractable epilepsy, brain tumors, spinal cord tumors, craniosynostosis, moya moya disease, Chiari malformations, spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Her research focuses on development of new devices to treat and diagnose hydrocephalus, as well as cognitive and functional mapping of the brain in patients with epilepsy. She has more than 60 publications and has lectured to neurosurgeons in multiple countries.
