Get to know General Dentist Dr. LaShunda Thompson-Roberts, who serves patients in Southaven, Mississippi.

Dr. Thompson-Roberts is a general dentist and the owner of iSmile Family Dentistry in Southaven, Mississippi. iSmile Family Dentistry is dedicated to providing full service family dentistry and helping each patient achieve optimal dental health. The dental practice provides professional dental care and service, as well as preventative treatments. 

Dr. Thompson-Roberts takes great pride in stressing the values of iSmile Family Dentistry, proudly stating: “We work together to accomplish great results and provide quality care to our patients. The quality of the work we provide to our patients is the key to our success. Dr. Thompson-Roberts is a native of Greenwood, Mississippi. She attended Amanda Ely High School, completing her high school education from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. Afterwards, she attended Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans where she graduated with her BS in biology with a minor in chemistry. Dr. Thompson-Roberts then went on to earn her dental degree from The University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. 

Dr. Thompson-Roberts is a member of the Mississippi Dental Association, the National Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist is a primary care dental provider who diagnoses, treats, and manages patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education.
