An experienced physiatrist with over 40 years of dedicated practice, Dr. Peer is the owner of Meeta Peer MD, PC, with two offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also affiliated with Nazareth Hospital, further demonstrating her strong ties to the medical community.

Educated in India, Dr. Peer graduated with her Medical Degree from B.J. Medical College in 1967. She then immigrated to the United States, performing her internship at United Hospitals and her residency at Veterans Administration Hospital (New Jersey).

To further enhance her expertise in her chosen field, Dr. Peer pursued a fellowship in pediatric rehabilitation at Mount Sinai. This specialized training equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive care for young patients requiring rehabilitative services.

Recognized for her exceptional proficiency and commitment to upholding the highest standards of medical practice, Dr. Peer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is accomplished through a process of certification and maintenance of certification that fosters excellence and encourages continuous learning.
