MidState Medical Center is a 156-bed acute care hospital located in Meriden, Connecticut, with satellite offices in Cheshire, Wallingford, and Southington. Graduating with her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 1989, Dr. Macannuco-Winslow went on to perform her internship at Danbury Hospital. This was followed by a residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and an additional fellowship at Louisiana State University M.C. – Shreveport.

A member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the doctor is board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. 

Practicing medicine in the State of Connecticut, Dr. Macannuco-Winslow is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Hartford Hospital, The Hospital of Central Connecticut- New Britain General Campus, The Hospital of Central Connecticut- Bradley Memorial Campus, Rockville General Hospital, Bristol Hospital, and Manchester Memorial Hospital.
