Julius D. Dr. Moore specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, particularly in older adults. These patients typically experience depression, difficulty coping with change, stress, dementia, anxiety and more. Older adults may also experience emotional distress after being diagnosed with a disease as well. Dr. Moore helps patients after a comprehensive diagnostic exam and collaborates with the primary care physician in the patients' overall healthcare. Dr. Moore has chosen to work with this population at this stage of his 45 year career.

Dr. Moore has four adult children with his youngest daughter living with him as she attends college with plans to go to Medical School.

Dr. Moore is a psychiatrist currently practicing with his private practice, Moore Family Care, LLC. He has over five decades of experience in his field. 

In regards to his education, he graduated with his bachelor’s degree from the University Of Florida in 1968. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medical School in 1972 and then completed his training by completing his psychiatry residency. 

His patients have excellent experiences with him, one stating, “Dr. Moore has always given me the time I needed, not just the time I was scheduled for and listened to me more attentively than any other doctor I have ever seen. He is compassionate and knowledgeable and takes the time to educate you about your condition and the medication he is prescribing for you. I’m not sure I would be here if not for him.”
